Harmonic Progression

We must raise $750,000 by March 1, 2008. Already, the Symphony raises nearly $200,000 annually from the contributions of our supporters. This means that over the next two years, normal giving will take us more than halfway to the $750,000 goal. It also means that we need to expand the annual fund while raising extra funds for reserves.
THE CHALLENGE TO
ENHANCE, EXPAND AND SECURE
THE ASHEVILLE SYMPHONY
Each year, we must engineer a 54% solution to the challenge that ticket sales cover less than half the cost of producing and performing great music. Overall, our financial goal is to provide the resources needed to support a first-class symphony. This translates into the following goals for 2006 and 2007.
$250,000 for the 2006-2007 Annual Fund
$300,000 for the 2007-2008 Annual Fund
$200,000 for Reserves (20% of Operating Budget)
