Eclectic Musical Weekend

The Asheville Symphony Guild Presents an Eclectic Musical Weekend in Music City USA.

The Asheville Symphony Guild Presents an Eclectic Musical Weekend in Music City USA.   You’re invited to join a Trip to the new Schermerhorn Symphony Center to hear a performance of Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony, Tchaikovsky’s Romeo and Juliet’s Fantasy Overture, and Schuman’s Credendum.  Leonard Slatkin will conduct the Nashville Symphony in this performance of tragic, romantic, inspirational, fateful, and perhaps the most heroic music ever written.

The following evening we will switch to a performance of a truly Americana experience at the Grand Ole Opry.  It is their Saturday Night Live television performance of music and humor that can’t be seen anywhere else in your world travels.

There will be guided tours of the historic Belle Meade Plantation, the new Frist Center for the Visual Arts, The Country Music Hall of Fame and much more.

This trip to Nashville TN, Music City USA, is scheduled for September 27-30, 2007 and reservations are on a first come first served basis.
