ASHEVILLE SYMPHONY EDUCATION PROGRAM

Vance ES 032207 -009.JPG

The Music Education in the Schools program is intended to supplement and support the work done by Buncombe County and Asheville City music teachers.  The Guild’s acclaimed “Music Education in the Schools” project brings live musical performances of brass, woodwinds, and strings to over 2000 Asheville and Buncombe County 3rd through 5th grade students. Musicians discuss and demonstrate their instruments and play a variety of musical selections. Students completing the three-year program will receive personal CD’s of the performances that they have heard.
